Top 10 Downloaded Chord Charts: August 2021

on Thursday, 02 September 2021. Posted in Top 10 Downloads, Blogs

The month of AUGUST 2021 was our second highest month of download activity ever! During the month, the Top 10 most downloaded chord charts from WorshipReady.com were (previous month rankings in parenthesis - "NL" means it was not in the top 10 list in the previous period):

  1. 10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord) - Matt Redman / Jesus Culture  (#8)
  2. Way Maker - Sinach / Leeland / Passion  (#1)
  3. House Of The Lord - Phil Wickham  (#2)
  4. Holy Spirit - Bryan & Katie Torwalt / Jesus Culture / VaShawn Mitchell  (#4)
  5. King Of My Heart - Bethel Music / Leeland  (NL)
  6. I Thank God - Maverick City Music  (NL)
  7. Graves Into Gardens - Elevation Worship  (#3)
  8. What A Beautiful Name - Hillsong Worship  (NL)
  9. Cornerstone - Hillsong Live  (NL)
  10. O Come To The Altar - Elevation Worship  (NL)

Matt Redman's "10,000 Reasons" is obviously a standard and will be for years to come. It pops in and out of our monthly top 10, and this month barely slid all the way into #1! Interestingly, this song was #1 in August 2019 also. Maybe the fall season has some tie to this song!

This Time Last Year...

The #1 song in August 2020 here at WorshipReady was Sinach's "Way Maker". This song is, of course, still popular and is usually in our monthly top 10 lists. It will no doubt be a standard for a long time!

We post here each month the Top 10 most downloaded charts so you can get a glimpse of what songs most other worship leaders seem to be using. Be sure to let us know if these songs are working well for you in your church! You can comment below.
