The year of 2016 was another year of growth here in not only the number of charts we have available, but the amount of download activity we have by our subscribers! It is always interesting to look back and see the worship songs that had the most download activity for their chord charts over a year-long timespan. During the year of 2016, the Top 20 most downloaded chord charts from WorshipReady.com were:
* in parenthesis, see the song ranking from 2015. "NL" means the song was not in the previous year's top 20.
Redman / Jesus Culture's "10,000 Reasons" reclaims the #1 spot in the yearly download chart, after sliding to #2 last year from the 2014 #1 placing. The biggest increase came from Tomlin / Housefire's "Good Good Father", which wasn't on last year's top 20, but hit #4 this year! Bethel / Aaron Shust's "Ever Be" has quickly become one of the more popular songs here as well. Also, All Sons & Dauther's "Great Are You Lord" made a notable climb from the bottom of last year's list up to #6.
No other big surprises overall though. This year did bring a lot of great new music and we are sure to see more of those newer songs sliding into top spots in the years to come!
